About the Perry Ellis PE476
The Perry Ellis PE476 features a semi-rimless rectangle shape designed for men. The rectangular lens shape provides structured, angular lines that complement faces with softer or rounded features, while the semi-rimless construction reduces visual weight along the bottom of the frame.
This frame measures 57-16-140: a 57mm lens width (wide), a 16mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 140mm temples (standard length). The wide 57mm lens width suits larger faces, while the 16mm bridge provides average spacing between lenses. What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
