About the Ray-Ban RB5433
The Ray-Ban RB5433 is a full rim phantos frame designed for women. The rounded phantos shape works well for angular face shapes by adding soft curves.
This frame comes in two sizes: 50-19-140 with a 38mm lens height and 52-19-140 with a 39mm lens height. The lens width of 50mm to 52mm is on the narrow side of regular, and the 19mm bridge is average for these lens widths. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses. Ray-Ban case included; one-year warranty against manufacturer's defects.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 50 or 52?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 51–53 mm take the 52.
Is the RB5433 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 38 mm in the 50 and 39 mm in the 52. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5433 and RB5433?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
