About the Smart S2860
The Smart S2860 is a full rim men's frame fitted with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for improved durability and comfort.
This frame measures 50-19-145 (lens width 50mm, bridge 19mm, temple 145mm). The 50mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, making this frame best suited for small to medium faces. The 19mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the S2860?
It comes in one size, 50-19-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 48–52 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the S2860 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
