About the Eight to Eighty FRANK
The Eight to Eighty FRANK is a full rim unisex frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides complete lens enclosure, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 51-17-140mm (lens width-bridge-temple). The 51mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if you typically wear narrow to regular-width frames.

Which size is the FRANK?
It comes in one size, 51-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 49–53 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the FRANK good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
