About the 4U US129

The 4U US129 is a men's square frame made from plastic with a full rim design. The frame features spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.

This frame comes in one size: 50-20-145 mm, with a lens height of 40 mm. The 50 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, while the 20 mm bridge is wide for this lens width, meaning the frame will sit farther from your face than other glasses with 50 mm lenses. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the US129?

It comes in one size, 50-20-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 48–52 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the US129 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 40 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
