About the Elizabeth Arden EA1279
The Elizabeth Arden EA1279 is a cat eye frame with a full rim design and spring hinges. This women's frame has the lifted outer corners characteristic of cat eye shapes, which complement angular and heart-shaped faces.
This frame comes in one size: 54-17-140, measured in millimeters for lens width, bridge width, and temple length. The 54mm lens width provides a regular fit, and the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
