About the Smart S2895
The Smart S2895 is a women's round frame made from plastic with a full rim design. The round shape complements angular face shapes by adding softer curves. Spring hinges provide flexibility at the temples for improved comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 55-17-145, where the lens width is 55mm (a regular fit), the bridge width is 17mm (average for this lens width), and the temple length is 145mm (standard). The 55mm lens width works for most wearers, while the 17mm bridge sits at an average distance on the nose. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the S2895?
It comes in one size, 55-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the S2895 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
