About the Ray-Ban RB5489
The Ray-Ban RB5489 is a full rim acetate frame with a pillow shape. This unisex style works for those seeking plastic frames with a softer, rounded rectangular appearance.
Available in two sizes: 54-19-145 with a lens height of 36mm, and 56-19-145 with a lens height of 38mm. The lens width of 54mm to 56mm is wide, while the 19mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width, and the 145mm temples are standard length. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 54 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the RB5489 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 36 mm in the 54 and 38 mm in the 56. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX5489 and RB5489?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
