About the Perry Ellis PE494
The Perry Ellis PE494 is a full rim rectangular frame designed for men. The rectangle shape provides structured, angular lines that complement round or oval face shapes. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.
This frame measures 57-17-145 mm (lens width-bridge-temple). The 57 mm lens width is wide, providing substantial coverage across the face. The 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width, fitting most nose widths proportionally. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

It comes in one size, 57-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 55–59 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
