The Capri DC244 is a women's irregular-shaped frame made from metal with a full rim construction. The spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.
This frame measures 56-17-145: the lens width is 56mm (wide), the bridge width is 17mm (average for this lens width), and the temple length is 145mm (standard). The wide 56mm lens width means these glasses will cover more of your face horizontally than narrower frames, while the 17mm bridge provides average spacing at the nose for frames of this size. What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
