About the Konishi KS1708
The Konishi KS1708 is a men's rectangular frame made from stainless steel metal in a full rim construction. The rectangular shape suits angular and oval face shapes, offering structured lines and complete lens coverage.
This frame measures 55-17-145 mm, with a lens width of 55 mm (regular fit), a bridge width of 17 mm (average for this lens size), and temples of 145 mm (standard length). The 55 mm lens width fits similarly to most standard eyeglasses, while the 17 mm bridge provides typical spacing between lenses.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the KS1708?
It comes in one size, 55-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the KS1708 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 37 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the KS1708 come in?
It is offered in 4 colors; the product page shows which are available now.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
