About the Eight to Eighty STANFORD
The Eight to Eighty STANFORD is a men's square frame made of metal with a full rim design. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.
This frame comes in one size: 52-19-145, with a lens height of 37mm. The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width. If you're comparing to glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—if your current frames are 53mm or 54mm in lens width, these will fit slightly more narrow.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the STANFORD?
It comes in one size, 52-19-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the STANFORD good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 37 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
