About the Nike 7183
The Nike 7183 is a women's cat eye frame made from plastic with a full rim design. The cat eye shape provides an upswept, angular look that suits those who prefer a distinctive frame style. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and durability.
This frame comes in one size: 51-19-140, with a lens height of 40mm. The 51mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 19mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of your temple—these measurements will be similar if your current frames are also narrow-regular in width with a standard bridge and temple length.

Is the 7183 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
