About the Marchon 5024N
The Marchon 5024N is a square-shaped women's frame made from acetate plastic in a full-rim construction. The frame includes spring hinges for flexibility and durability.
This frame comes in two sizes: 51-15-140 with a 41mm lens height, and 55-15-140 with a 44mm lens height. The lens widths of 51mm and 55mm provide a regular fit, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for these lens widths. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 51 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the 5024N good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm in the 51 and 44 mm in the 55. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
