About the Perry Ellis PE527
The Perry Ellis PE527 is a full rim metal frame in a rectangle shape designed for men. The metal construction and rectangular lens shape create a structured, professional appearance that suits angular and oval face shapes. Spring hinges provide flexible wear throughout the day.
This frame comes in one size: 54-16-145, with a lens height of 43 mm. The 54 mm lens width provides a regular fit, while the 16 mm bridge is average for this lens width. It comes in one size, 54-16-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the PE527 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 43 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
