About the Jill Stuart JS480
The Jill Stuart JS480 is a square-shaped women's frame made from stainless steel metal in a full rim construction. The frame includes spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for additional comfort and durability.
This frame measures 56-17-145 mm (lens width-bridge-temple length) with a lens height of 43 mm. The 56 mm lens width is wide, suitable for those who find standard-width frames too narrow, while the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens size. Which size is the JS480?
It comes in one size, 56-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JS480 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 43 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
