About the Ray-Ban RB8423
The Ray-Ban RB8423 is a square-shaped metal frame with a rimless construction and regular hinges. This unisex style works for those who prefer the minimal look of rimless eyewear in a structured square shape.
Available in two sizes: 54-18-145 with a lens height of 36 mm, and 56-18-145 with a lens height of 38 mm. The lens width of 54 mm to 56 mm is wide, while the 18 mm bridge is average for this lens width, and the 145 mm temple length is standard. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of your temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 54 or 56?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 53–55 mm take the 54; if it is 55–57 mm take the 56.
Is the RB8423 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 36 mm in the 54 and 38 mm in the 56. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX8423 and RB8423?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
