About the Ray-Ban RB5421F
The Ray-Ban RB5421F is a rectangle-shaped frame made from acetate with a full rim construction. This unisex style works for wearers who prefer a classic rectangular frame shape.
Available in two sizes: 53-19-145 with a 40mm lens height, and 55-19-145 with a 41mm lens height. The lens width of 53mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, while the 19mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.
Is the RB5421F good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 40 mm in the 53 and 41 mm in the 55. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RB5421F and RX5421F?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
