At 47mm to 49mm lens width, the Ray-Ban RY1617D sits on the narrow side of regular sizing. If your current glasses measure 50mm or wider across each lens, these will feel noticeably smaller on your face.
The 32mm lens height provides adequate vertical space for progressive lenses. Single vision and lined bifocal prescriptions fit without constraint.
The pillow shape in injected material works well on oval and heart-shaped faces. Angular face shapes like square or rectangular may find the rounded curves too soft for contrast.

BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
