About the Ray-Ban RY1642
The Ray-Ban RY1642 is a pillow-shaped frame designed for unisex wear. The pillow shape features gently rounded edges that soften angular facial features.
This frame comes in two sizes: 46-16-135 with a lens height of 32 mm, and 48-16-135 with a lens height of 34 mm. The lens width of 46 mm to 48 mm is narrow, while the 16 mm bridge is average for frames in this lens width range. The 135 mm temples are short, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to your ears.

Which size should I choose, 46 or 48?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 45–47 mm take the 46; if it is 47–49 mm take the 48.
Is the RY1642 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 32 mm in the 46 and 34 mm in the 48. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What colors does the RY1642 come in?

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
