The Lacoste L2217 is a men's rectangular metal frame with a full rim design. Spring hinges provide flexibility and durability for everyday wear.

This frame comes in two sizes: 52-17-140 with a lens height of 33 mm, and 54-17-145 with a lens height of 34 mm. The lens width of 52 mm to 54 mm offers a regular fit, while the 17 mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.

Is the L2217 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 33 mm in the 52 and 34 mm in the 54. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
