At 54mm lens width, the Marchon M-8518 provides a regular fit suited to average face sizes. This width is comparable to most standard eyeglasses. The 18mm bridge and 145mm temples are proportional and standard for this size frame.

The 41mm lens height is deep and accommodates progressive lenses with room for all viewing zones. Wearers who need no-line bifocals will have adequate vertical space for distance, intermediate, and near vision. Single vision prescriptions also benefit from the extended coverage.

The rectangular acetate frame works well on round or oval faces by adding definition and structure. The full-rim design and angular lines do not complement square or rectangular face shapes, which already have strong horizontal and vertical features. The unisex styling fits a range of face widths within the regular size category.
