iLux™ is an adaptive multifocal lens powered by NAL® technology. It is designed to give clear, comfortable vision at every distance in one continuous visual field, from reading up close to the far distance, in a lens that is ordered like a familiar progressive.
What is iLux™?
iLux™ was designed by QLDS®, the creators of OmniLux® Natural Accommodation Lens (NAL®). It is a hybrid: it combines the way a progressive lens is ordered and made with the visual concepts of NAL® technology. In short, it is a lens that sits closer to NAL® than to a standard progressive (PAL).
Why choose iLux™?
- Ordered like a progressive. It uses the same ordering, processing and marking as a progressive lens, so there is nothing unfamiliar about the prescription.
- Closer to NAL®. It brings the visual concepts of NAL® technology to a familiar lens design.
- Made for easy adaptation. It is designed to be easier to accept for people who already wear progressives.
- One continuous visual field. Near reading distance to infinity, without switching between separate zones.
Designed for everyday life
iLux™ is designed for long hours indoors and for an active outdoor life: reading, computer work, conversation, driving, shopping, cycling, hiking, golf or pickleball.
