About the Smart S2820
The Smart S2820 is a women's plastic frame with spring hinges. The spring hinge construction allows the temples to flex outward for comfortable wear.
This frame measures 46-15-128 mm (lens width-bridge-temple length), with a lens height of 34 mm. The 46 mm lens width is narrow, and the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, so this frame works best for faces with closely-set eyes. To compare with glasses you already own, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be smaller than most standard frames.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the S2820?
It comes in one size, 46-15-128. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 44–48 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the S2820 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 34 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
