About the Smart S2950
The Smart S2950 is a plastic frame with spring hinges. This unisex design works for adults seeking a straightforward everyday frame.
This frame comes in one size: 52-15-140 mm, with a lens height of 28 mm. The 52 mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, and the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, so this frame suits those whose current glasses feel slightly loose or wide across the nose. The 140 mm temples are standard length.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the S2950?
It comes in one size, 52-15-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the S2950 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 28 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
