About the Smart S7268
The Smart S7268 is a men's metal frame made from stainless steel with spring hinges. The stainless steel construction provides durability, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and resilience.
This frame measures 53-17-138 mm with a lens height of 27 mm. The 53 mm lens width is a regular fit, and the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width, suitable for standard nose widths. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your glasses fit comparably.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the S7268?
It comes in one size, 53-17-138. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the S7268 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 27 mm. That is shallow, so single vision is recommended in this frame. Please ask us before ordering progressive or multifocal lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
