About the Eight to Eighty 40
The Eight to Eighty 40 is a unisex frame designed to work across different ages and preferences. Its compact proportions make it best suited for smaller faces or anyone seeking a frame with minimal coverage.
This frame measures 40mm lens width, 14mm bridge, and 110mm temples. The 40mm lens width is narrow, offering less horizontal coverage than standard frames, while the 14mm bridge sits narrow for this lens size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be noticeably smaller if you typically wear medium or large frames.

Which size is the 40?
It comes in one size, 40-14-110. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 38–42 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 40 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
