About the IZOD 2009

The IZOD 2009 is a men's full rim frame made from TR-90 material and fitted with spring hinges. This construction provides flexibility and durability in a complete frame design.

This frame comes in one size: 54-15-135 mm with a lens height of 36 mm. The 54 mm lens width is a regular fit, while the 15 mm bridge is narrow for this lens width and the 135 mm temples are short. If your current glasses have a wider bridge or longer temples, this frame will fit differently.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 2009?

It comes in one size, 54-15-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 2009 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 36 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
