About the IZOD 2138

The IZOD 2138 is a men's full rim acetate frame with spring hinges. The full rim construction provides durability and a complete frame outline around the lenses.

This frame comes in one size: 52-18-145, with a lens height of 43 mm. The 52 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, and the 18 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—if your current frames are 50-53 mm for the first number, these will fit similarly.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 2138?

It comes in one size, 52-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 2138 good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 43 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
