About the IZOD 2148
The IZOD 2148 is a full rim acetate frame designed for men. The acetate construction provides durability, and the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and fit adjustment.
This frame comes in one size: 53-17-145 mm, with a lens height of 42 mm. The 53 mm lens width is a regular fit, and the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your current frames fit you well.

Which size is the 2148?
It comes in one size, 53-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 2148 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 42 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
