About the BCBGMAXAZRIA ASTRID

The BCBGMAXAZRIA ASTRID is a full rim acetate frame designed for women. Spring hinges provide flexibility and durability during everyday wear.

This frame comes in one size: 49-20-135 mm, with a lens height of 41 mm. The 49 mm lens width is on the narrow side of regular, while the 20 mm bridge is wide for this lens width, and the 135 mm temples are short. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the ASTRID?

It comes in one size, 49-20-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 47–51 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the ASTRID good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 41 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
