About the BCBGMAXAZRIA HERA
The BCBGMAXAZRIA HERA is a women's full rim acetate frame with spring hinges. The acetate construction provides durability, while the spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort and fit adjustment.
This frame comes in one size: 54-16-140, with a lens height of 44 mm. The 54 mm lens width offers a regular fit, and the 16 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you currently own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will tell you how this frame differs in size.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the HERA?
It comes in one size, 54-16-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the HERA good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 44 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
