About the BCBGMAXAZRIA JANA
The BCBGMAXAZRIA JANA is a women's full rim metal frame with spring hinges. The metal construction and full rim design provide a structured look suitable for women seeking durable eyewear.
This frame comes in one size: 53-17-135 mm with a lens height of 46 mm. The 53 mm lens width offers a regular fit, while the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. The 135 mm temples are short compared to standard lengths, so if your current glasses have longer temples, these will sit closer to your ears.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the JANA?
It comes in one size, 53-17-135. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 51–55 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the JANA good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 46 mm. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
