About the STEVE MADDEN CLAIR
The STEVE MADDEN CLAIR is a full rim acetate frame designed for kids, equipped with spring hinges for flexibility and durability. The construction provides complete lens coverage in a sturdy material suitable for active wear.
Available in two sizes: 50-15-135 with a 38mm lens height, and 52-15-135 with a 38mm lens height. The lens width of 50mm to 52mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 15mm bridge is narrow for this lens width, and the 135mm temples are short—if your child's current glasses have wider lenses, a wider bridge, or longer temples, these will fit smaller by comparison.

Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 50 or 52?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 51–53 mm take the 52.
Is the CLAIR good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 38 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
