About the Tuscany 786

The Tuscany 786 is a full rim plastic frame designed for women. The spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for a more forgiving fit.

This frame comes in one size: 52-17-140mm (lens width, bridge width, temple length). The 52mm lens width falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the 786?

It comes in one size, 52-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 50–54 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the 786 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
