About the Tuscany 800
The Tuscany 800 is a full rim metal frame designed for women. The metal construction with spring hinges provides functional durability in a complete frame design.
This frame measures 55-16-140: a 55mm lens width (regular fit), 16mm bridge (average for this lens width), and 140mm temples (standard length). The regular lens width works for most face widths, while the average bridge spacing sits at a typical distance from your nose. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of your temple arm.

Which size is the 800?
It comes in one size, 55-16-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 800 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
