About the Urban 127
The Urban 127 is a full rim metal frame designed for men. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for increased comfort and durability.
This frame measures 57-16-145: the lens width is 57mm (wide), the bridge is 16mm (average for this lens width), and the temples are 145mm (standard length). The wide 57mm lenses provide substantial coverage, while the 16mm bridge offers average spacing between lenses for frames of this size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
