About the Ray-Ban RB7074
The Ray-Ban RB7074 is a square-shaped frame made from plastic with a full rim design. This unisex style works for those who prefer angular frames with complete lens coverage.
Available in two sizes: 50-18-145 with a 41mm lens height, and 52-18-145 with a 42mm lens height. The lens width of 50mm to 52mm falls on the narrow side of regular, while the 18mm bridge is average for this lens width. Compare these measurements to your current glasses to determine which size will fit you best.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses. Ray-Ban case included; one-year warranty against manufacturer's defects.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 50 or 52?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 49–51 mm take the 50; if it is 51–53 mm take the 52.
Is the RB7074 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 41 mm in the 50 and 42 mm in the 52. That is deep, so there is plenty of room for progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What is the difference between RX7074 and RB7074?
Nothing in the frame. One is the engraved code and the other is Luxottica's catalogue code for the prescription version. We list both so it matches your optician's paperwork.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
