About the Smilen Elite 32
The Smilen Elite 32 features a rectangle shape in acetate with a full rim construction. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added comfort. This women's frame works well for those who prefer structured, angular styles.
This frame measures 55-15-140: a 55mm lens width (regular fit), 15mm bridge (narrow for this lens width), and 140mm temples (standard length). The regular lens width suits most faces, while the narrow bridge fits closer to the nose than many frames with 55mm lenses. Compare these measurements to a pair of glasses that fits you well to determine compatibility.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 32?
It comes in one size, 55-15-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 53–57 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 32 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
Prescription lens options for the Smilen Elite 32
OmniLux® NAL®
– next-gen no-line multifocal lenses, exclusive to BestNewGlasses.com.
Single vision
– one prescription across the whole lens, for distance or reading.
Progressive

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
