About the IZOD 2052
The IZOD 2052 is a full rim frame made from stainless steel with spring hinges. The unisex design works for both men and women seeking durable metal eyewear.
This frame comes in one size: 58-17-140, with a lens height of 31 mm. The 58 mm lens width is wide, suitable for those who find standard frames too narrow, while the 17 mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the 2052?
It comes in one size, 58-17-140. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 56–60 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the 2052 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 31 mm. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
