About the Marchon MOORE

The Marchon MOORE is a rectangle-shaped frame made from plastic (ZYL) in a full rim construction. This unisex frame includes spring hinges and suits those who prefer a classic rectangular shape.

Available in two sizes: 53-17-140 with a lens height of 34 mm, and 55-17-145 with a lens height of 35 mm. The lens width of 53mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 53 or 55?

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 52–54 mm take the 53; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.

Is the MOORE good for progressive lenses?

The lens height is 34 mm in the 53 and 35 mm in the 55. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
