About the A6248
The A6248 is a full rim frame designed for men, featuring spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for improved comfort and durability. The full rim construction provides complete support around the lenses.
This frame measures 52-18-140: a 52mm lens width that falls on the narrow side of regular, an 18mm bridge width that is average for this lens size, and a 140mm temple length that is standard. The narrow-regular lens width works well if your current glasses feel slightly wide, while the average bridge should sit comfortably on most nose shapes without pinching or sliding.

Is the A6248 good for progressive lenses?

What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
