About the 4U U214
The 4U U214 is a full rim unisex frame with regular hinges. The full rim construction encircles the lenses completely, providing a defined look suitable for both men and women.
This frame comes in two sizes: 51-17-140 and 54-17-145, where the numbers indicate lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters. The lens width of 51mm to 54mm provides a regular fit, while the 17mm bridge is average for these lens widths. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 54?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 53–55 mm take the 54.
Is the U214 good for progressive lenses?

If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—

LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
