About the Flexon 607
The Flexon 607 is a semi-rimless metal frame with a rectangular lens shape. The Flexon material construction and unisex design make this a practical everyday frame.
This frame comes in two sizes: 49-20-140 with 31mm lens height, and 51-20-145 with 33mm lens height. The lens width of 49mm to 51mm is on the narrow side of regular, while the 20mm bridge is wide for these lens widths—if your current glasses feel tight across the nose, this wider bridge may provide more comfortable spacing.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should I choose, 49 or 51?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 48–50 mm take the 49; if it is 50–52 mm take the 51.
Is the 607 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 31 mm in the 49 and 33 mm in the 51. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What does semi-rimless mean?
A metal rim holds the top of the lens and a fine cord holds the bottom edge, so the frame looks lighter than a full-rim style.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
