About the New Balance NBK150

The New Balance NBK150 is a full rim rectangular frame designed for kids. Spring hinges provide flexibility and durability for active wear.

This frame measures 48-17-130 (lens width 48mm, bridge 17mm, temple 130mm). The 48mm lens width is narrow, and the bridge is average for this lens width, while the 130mm temples are short. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the NBK150?

It comes in one size, 48-17-130. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 46–50 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the NBK150 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
