About the AirMag A6258
The AirMag A6258 is a semi-rimless frame designed for men, with spring hinges that allow the temples to flex outward for comfortable wear. The semi-rimless construction means the lenses are held at the top while the bottom remains open.
This frame measures 54mm-18mm-145mm for lens width, bridge width, and temple length. The 54mm lens width provides a regular fit, and the 18mm bridge is average for this lens size. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple—these measurements will be similar if your glasses fit about the same way.
Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.
Frequently asked questions
Which size is the A6258?
It comes in one size, 54-18-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 52–56 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.
Is the A6258 good for progressive lenses?
Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:
LENSWIDTH (A)—
BRIDGEWIDTH (DBL)—
TEMPLELENGTH—
LENSHEIGHT (B)—
The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
