About the Capri 88

The Capri 88 is a full rim frame with spring hinges. The unisex design works for both men and women.

Available in two sizes: 52-20-140 and 55-20-145. The lens width of 52mm to 55mm provides a regular fit, while the 20mm bridge is wide for frames of this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Which size should I choose, 52 or 55?

Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 51–53 mm take the 52; if it is 54–56 mm take the 55.

Is the 88 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
