About the Konishi KA5862

The Konishi KA5862 is a full rim frame designed for women. Spring hinges provide flexible, comfortable wear throughout the day.

This frame measures 56-17-143 (lens width 56mm, bridge 17mm, temple 143mm). The 56mm lens width is wide, offering substantial coverage, while the 17mm bridge is average for this lens width. To compare with glasses you already own, check the three numbers printed on the inside of the temple.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the KA5862?

It comes in one size, 56-17-143. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 54–58 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the KA5862 good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
