About the Mademoiselle MM9285
The Mademoiselle MM9285 is a women's oval frame made from titanium metal in a full rim construction. The spring hinges provide flexibility and durability, while the oval shape complements a range of face shapes.
This frame is available in two sizes: 51-18-138 with a lens height of 37 mm, and 53-17-138 with a lens height of 39 mm. The lens widths of 51 mm and 53 mm offer a regular fit, and the bridge widths of 18 mm and 17 mm are average for these lens sizes. The 138 mm temples are standard length, similar to what you'll find on most eyeglasses you already own.

Which size should I choose, 51 or 53?
Check the first number on the temple of your current glasses. If it is 50–52 mm take the 51; if it is 52–54 mm take the 53.
Is the MM9285 good for progressive lenses?
The lens height is 37 mm in the 51 and 39 mm in the 53. That works with progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses.
What are spring hinges?
A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
If you already own a pair of glasses, you'll find numbers engraved on the inside of the eyewear temple. These numbers indicate the following:

The first number is the lens width followed by the bridge width. The third number represents the temple length, or the measurement of the arms of your frame. In some cases there may be a fourth number that indicates the lens height. Measurements in mm.
