About the CAT DORMER

The CAT DORMER is a men's full rim frame in a rectangle shape. Spring hinges allow the temples to flex outward for added durability and comfort.

This frame comes in one size: 60-17-145 mm (lens width, bridge width, temple length). The 60 mm lens width is very wide, suitable for larger faces, while the 17 mm bridge is average for frames with this lens width. To compare with your current glasses, check the numbers printed on the inside of the temple arm.

Order the frame on its own or add prescription lenses made in our U.S. lab: single vision, OmniLux® NAL® lenses or progressives, and prescription sunglasses with Transitions®, tinted or polarized lenses. Free U.S. shipping on every order with prescription lenses.

Frequently asked questions

Which size is the DORMER?

It comes in one size, 60-17-145. If the first number on the temple of your current glasses is 58–62 mm, it will fit you in a similar way.

Is the DORMER good for progressive lenses?

Yes. Progressive, OmniLux® NAL® and iLux™ lenses can be made in this frame. If you would like us to confirm the fit for your prescription, contact us before you order.

What are spring hinges?

A small spring in the hinge lets the temple flex outward slightly, which reduces pressure at the sides of your head and helps the frame last.
